Open Records

Open Records provides a mechanism for citizens to inspect or copy government records. It also provides for instances in which governmental bodies may elect to, or are required by law to, withhold government records from the public. The City of Hubbard supports a transparency within our local government. 

The Texas Open Records Act goes into effect once the requestor notifies the City in writing the requested information.  The City has 10 working days to fullfill the request.  the requestor must pay the applicable fees to receive the information.  If the information is not applicable to open records the City will notify the Attorney Generals office and the requestor about what information that is to be withheld.   If you have questions, please feel free to contact us by email or phone.
